The account manager position is one that requires individuals that are jacks of all trades. During the course of a school and calendar year, the role changes significantly and sometimes requires long days. Your overall goal is to procure sales through the provision of excellent customer service and the maintaining and building of rapport with both current and potential client as well as executing processes to maintain organization within existing accounts and throughout set-up of new accounts.
Position Responsibilities- Essential
Responsible for account management with current schools, administrators, class sponsors, to include face to face meetings, phone and email correspondence. Public speaking is a critical skill that will be used during class meetings at schools of all sizes.
Responsible for sales performance within specified accounts.
Responsible for implementation of the company’s in school marketing strategy within assigned school
Serve as point of contact and provide exceptional service to take care of questions, needs or issues at all levels including office, schools, and parents.
Work with office staff regarding questions, orders, etc.
Monitor relationships and take care of school sponsors.
Responsible for weekly and monthly scheduling for RGS and schools within a territory.
Responsible for conducting class meeting presentations with sometimes more than 600 students in an auditorium or gym.
Collect and enter student order forms/contact information; enter student cell/email list and payments submit to the main office on as needed basis.
Responsible for orchestrating the taking of orders, receiving payments, processing and depositing all payments; and delivering orders.
Keep track of and follow up on all deadlines for RGS and Jostens.
Maintain champ accounts and projects as needed.
Attend school functions to include parent nights, graduations, special events, etc.
Coordinate orders of specialty items for schools.
Coordinate, organize and track contributions, donations and benefits from RGS made to school clients.
Responsible for vehicle maintenance, ensuring the assigned vehicle is clean and operable at all times.
Participate in Sales Training and other company training as offered.
Respond to all emails and phone calls within a timely manner, ensure deadlines are met and issues are resolved as quickly as possible, prepare and provide timely and accurate reports as required.
